Matthew Ashdown and Brad Morris, known globally as “The GratiDudes” (www.theGratiDudes.com) started the Gratitude Dance out of a moment of celebration at a coffee shop in Victoria, BC while writing their book on Manifesting Awesomeness. Out of this little jig came the idea to film it. Little did they know that it was just the beginning of their journey of understanding the power of gratitude and the power it has had on their lives.

How often have you thought about something you really want to do? Do you want to change a job, start a business or even start a relationship? Why is it some people just seem to make a decision and then go for it while others who say they want the same things, never seem to get there? Most often, it has to do with fear and doubt. Ever experience this? Underneath all the excuses, it really is fear.
“The best way to overcome the habit of Fear is to assume the mental attitude of Courage, just as the best way to get rid of darkness is to let in the light”. In order for us to achieve that which we desire, we have to work on eliminating fear from our lives. Now, I’m not talking about real fear as if our physical well-being is in threat of harm. I’m talking about the internal fear which is a result our own personal struggles. Fear really is just a habit programmed into our minds and is the cause of a lot of unhappiness. It is not easy to get rid of fear and to do so will take a great deal of effort on your part; but it can be done. I like to think of Fear as nothing more than an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.
When I ask someone what their thoughts about the Law of Attraction are, most often they don’t believe it works. They say the evidence isn’t there and that nothing has changed in their lives. But there are those who do believe in it, that they know that positive thoughts attract positive results. Expectancy is a powerful magnet whether you expect the “best” or the “worst”. You will get what you think about. Those with confidence seem to always attract the people, things, circumstances and surroundings they desire. Equally true, those who think the worse, typically experience what they think about. So, according to the Law, if you Fear something, you are really expecting what you fear. The Law of Attraction draws to you what you desire whether it’s positive or negative – the principle is the same. (more…)
