DARE to be different…

As I look back on my life, I recognize that for many years I lived a shell shocked existence, moving from experience to experience in a state of complete numbness and confusion.  I allowed life to drag me around by my Jimmy Choos, because I didn’t understand that I had the power to change my situation.  Having not been raised in an environment that had an underlying sense of spirituality, I could not see the inner beauty and light that was within me.  I was no doubt, an untamed soul roaming the countryside lost and blinded by heartache and fear.  The cry of my heart was so severe that it finally woke me from the blank eyed stupor I had been living for decades.  Pain, anguish, unhappiness and anger were depleting my energy supply aggressively and I could barely function day to day.  I would like to tell you that I had a grand epiphany, but I was simply sick and tired of being sick and tired. A cliché, I realize and a very real one for me.  Finally, I decided that I would break from convention and go forward with what felt right, instead of continuing to do what others wanted of me.  The time was upon me to DARE to be different.

D: Destiny awaits you

A: Awaken your senses

R: Realize your radiance

E: Enrich your life

Destiny is your purpose in life.  It is very easy to recognize if you are properly aligned because you feel blissful, joyful and filled with passion.  Of course, if you are not where you need to be, your life will be void of this richness and filled with depression, unhappiness and the utter feeling of being lost.  Most people fall somewhere in between these two spectrums.  Fear not, Divine love is pushing you forward so that you may uncover your true purpose and live with a passion in your heart that will glow brightly from the inside out.  Adversity is the yardstick that measures how much further you need to move forward to get to this beautiful place of purpose and passion.

Awaken your senses and learn to feel more deeply what is inherently within you already.  We each have an internal blueprint for what is to be, but one can not view this map without reaching a more heightened state of awareness.  Raising your consciousness is about going past the five senses one is accustomed to using.  Instead you must learn how to tap into the messages that the Divine is sending.   Hearing, seeing, feeling and knowing takes on new meaning as it moves forth from your spiritual aspects, instead of your physical ones.  Your spiritual senses act as the roadmap of your internal navigational system and will lead you more swiftly to your destiny.

Realize your radiance and the Divine DNA that runs through you.  When you awaken to the fact that your spirit is filled with this brilliant and rich substance of the Divine, it will change your life.  This is your power center and if properly nurtured you uncover the truth that you can do anything, be anything and live any dream you have, regardless of the magnitude.  The more beautiful the imagination the more Divine DNA there is in it.  Remember that like attracts like, so if your light is among the radiant hue of the rainbow, you will naturally be living a brighter existence than if your aura resembles a pot of coffee.  Worry not, all stains can be removed, but the goal is lighter and brighter colors.

Enrich your life by releasing all fears and doubts so that you may live in harmony with heart and soul.    Freedom breaks the chains that bind you to a life filled with lack and despair.  Opening a doorway within to create fully, love unconditionally, and live peacefully is what living a rich life resembles.  What is within you is reflected all around you in the way you look, the condition of your belongings, the manner in which people treat you and the world at large.  We can not expect the world we live in to be peaceful and plentiful if we ourselves are in a state of conflict.  Conflict within is reflected outward as war and strife, peace within is reflected outward as love and harmony.  Healing the world takes healing yourself first.

When I began my quest of finding inner richness and beauty, I did not know what road lay ahead, but something told me that if I continued to disregard the hazardous road signs it was going to prove fatal for me.  My spirit was screaming to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sun that shines deep within.  DARE to be different and discover how spiritually rich and sexy you can be.
