Today is the best day of my life just as I know it is the best day of yours because, one you are reading this. Number two because you are living, breathing and are present in this moment so therefore it is the best day and moment of yours and my life.
Not to mention we are sharing it through your reading of the words I am writing to you, this is a great moment we share. However in short those are not the only reason that it is the day of my life, not by far, it is because I am grateful for it.
The power of gratitude in my knowledge is second only to the power of love and when I am feeling both you know it’s a great day. Of course gratitude brings to you more of the good stuff in life and keeps giving you more to be grateful for over and over again.
Now since pretty much everyone already knows this I’m going to give you something a little different. We all always have many more things to be grateful for then we most of the time know and yet are not grateful for it.
Not always but some times it is just that we don’t always take the time to express gratitude for those things. Especially not those that more the most and now is the time to do just that, now you can do it one of two ways or both.
One: seek out the people that you are grateful for in your life and tell them so and give something to them that lets them know it.
Two: take pen and paper write down all the things and people that you are grateful for and write in detail why you are thankful for them.
Three: if it is people that you are grateful for, think of the reasons and wish for them to equally in-return for all they have done for you.

Four: if you are grateful for things, think about what it is and where it came from, say it is perfect timing, thank the powers that be.
Five: again take up pen and paper and write down everything you dislike and things that are difficult and stressful.
After you have a list of things you don’t like then go over them and write down at least 10 things you DO like about those things. Now I know that those are things that you do not like and therefore might find it tough to find something about them that you do like.
Now you may not like those things but I can assure you that there is always something good in what you feel is bad. However nothing is either bad nor good it just IS, only your perception of it makes what you see it as, bad or good.
Though with that being said we all have difficulties with things we are not use to and/or have stressful situations as well. A perfect example of that is having a stressful relationship with one of my family member’s.
I love her with all my heart but our relationship has had it’s ups and downs, she has never been interested in my passions. As such whenever I want to talk about them she would ignore me and walk away.
Some times she would seem to be mad at me for no explainable reason, it caused no end of frustration and upset. Since it is a relationship that is close to me I had to find a way to improve it so I searched for things to be grateful about her.
I found so much to be grateful it transformed the relationship after I let her know what I loved and appreciated about her.
Another powerful exercise of gratitude is to be grateful for one things and to follow it back to it’s source. An example; one evening while hanging out with my sister my younger brother had just gotten home from work with my father.
He told me to come with him because he had something for me to do and when I followed he gave me a piece of cake. He got the cake from the man he was working for, I thanked my brother and was grateful to his boss for givine it to him.
I did not stop there though, I continued to feel gratitude for the place he got it from and the people who made it. That is a trail of gratitude and being grateful for something from it’s source and is another powerful form of gratitude.

Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret? I clearly remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that – Yes, I can make my dreams come true – FINALLY!
But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration? How many of you (and be honest now) started muttering things like:
- “It seems to work for other people, but I just can’t get it right.”
- “I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. What’s the trick?”
- “Why am I having so much trouble?”
- “I think the universe is against me.”
- “I’m trying very, VERY hard but still nothing is happening!”
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round. Think about it, just like anything else, you have to practice many times before you see success. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?
But in practice, everything is easier said and done. Do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? That’s right – you start attracting negative things in to your life.
So how can you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting frustrated? How do those who successfully implement the Law of Attraction do it with such confidence and finesse?
Well, here’s three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated or tired of begging from the universe, because you know how to start manifesting like a pro.
1. Allow Yourself To Receive
Just like a lost child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, if the child goes on and on asking, the police officer can’t even give an answer, right?
Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!
So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets).
Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.
2. Be Patient With Yourself
Receiving takes time.
Sadly, many people give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster.
This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. You also can’t bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!
In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.
So relax and be patient. Remember that you too, as part of the universe, are also governed by the laws of the universe, and you cannot change the natural development time.
If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity.
3. Support and Educate Yourself
Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need to guidance on how to do it, and also the role models to look up to.
Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It was never intended, and has never been, the whole answer.
Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with fried foods and cheesecakes).
So seek and be hungry for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst people or communities where you can support each other, learn from each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.
While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you do your part too!
Day in and day out you wait for abundance to manifest in your life and yet nothing ever comes to you even though you’ve done everything right. You know what you want and you practice being positive and holding the vision of having it NOW and still nothing!
Yet the trouble with that is that it sits right outside your door waiting you to take out the trash to make room for it. Wherever your at in life there will be something that you no longer have need of and therefore it’s always good to get rid of it in some way.
Before I was a teenager my older sister and myself shared a bedroom and of course since we were sharing we had to much stuff combined. One day when she went running barefoot through the room to the other end she hit her little toe on a doll couch and broke it.
Point being that no matter what age you are you can still have to much clutter in your life, either mental or physical. Or should I say material, if it’s material you’ll want to clear it out or be it mental such as hurts or limiting beliefs you’ll want to heal those.
Because when you have to much clutter there is no room for anything new in your life and limiting beliefs will stop things coming in. Even if it didn’t altogether you wouldn’t have any room for it, that’s why so many don’t have any “luck” manifesting what they want.
It sends out a signal to the universe that you are actually happy with what you already have and especially so if you don’t appreciate it. If you are not grateful for what you already have like my mother always use to say
”If you do not take care of your things and are not grateful for them, you don’t deserve anything new.”
A bit harsh perhaps but half right at the same time, because if you are not thankful why should you get anymore? Clean up and clear out all that you don’t want/need or use and be grateful for what you do have, it creates a better flow of energy with which to manifest.

More then that when you clean up and clear out it invites better things into your life and you move up a level. Just as you did when you were growing up as a child, as you got older you no longer needed the same things you did before.
The same is still true as you grow in knowledge and in life so you no longer need the same things and they can be released. So you can replace them with what you need in the next stage of development of your life so you continue your growth process.
Something that is said a lot that is very true of life and that is “You can not move forward until you have released the past.” It can also be said until you have forgiven the past. If you are feeling stuck then see what you have that you no longer need/want or use any longer.
You can not move up the staircase of your life until you have released all that is holding you back and that goes for mental as well. Not just the physical/material because there is usually a lot of mental clutter blocking things up that keeps you from manifesting the way you want to.
You may not even know of it, have you ever explored things like past hurts? What about forgiving yourself for things that you did or did not do right? A great place to start is with is your beliefs, if you hold any limit in your thinking and/or beliefs it will serve as a block to your manifesting efforts.
Is there anything you need to forgive yourself of? What about forgiving others? It hurts you more in the long run then it does them. Usually whether we know it or not those that were their in our life were there so that we could learn something that we needed to know.
Then those people move on because we no longer have a need of them any longer, some times someone comes into your life. You date them for some time and then they move on for seemly no reason at all, usually because your need of them is fulfilled.
A good place to start with all of these that will clear out both mental and physical clutter.
First I highly suggest throwing out anything that has a bad memory that goes with it.
Second evaluate your beliefs and see where you might be limited in your thinking about things, a couple examples are: I am not good enough. I will never be any good. I don’t deserve anything.
I am afraid of success. Life is difficult.
Write a list of all the people you haven’t forgiven, then write another list of the things you learned from them.
Start in your bedroom (since it is a reflection of you) clean out things you no longer want, need or use.
Next clean out your bedroom closet.
Then clean out your bathroom.
Those are all a really good place to start and they are the most important places and have the most impact on your overall mood and emotions. When your bedroom and bathroom are clear and feel good to the person they can improve yourself and make it easier to manifest.
So simply put when you clean up and clear out you allow in all that is waiting to come in.
